Construction
Our storm shelters are designed and constructed with your protection in
mind. The two piece construction allows the top of storm shelter to interlocks
with the bottom.. The 4,000 psi concrete is steel reinforced and with
the application of the rubberized basement sealer on the bottom section
this prevents water from entering the walls.

Interior Options
A shelf can be mounted on the back wall and wood bench seating is also
available. Carpet for the floor is also available at a reasonable price.
Installation
Excavating a ten-foot by eight foot, four foot in depth, hole is required.
The dirt floor must be smooth and level and sand is recommended for the
best results. Landscaping opportunities allow our customers to enhance
the appearance of their storm shelter. Landscape timbers, railroad ties
and stone are used in creative ways. If landscape is not performed the
customer may need to purchase additional top soil.
Warranty
The manufacturer warrants there will be no leakage in the concrete structure
for a period of 10 years from the date of installation. This includes
the seal where the two (2) units are joined. The warranty does not include
moisture that may appear from time to time in the form of condensation,
commonly due to temperature variations, humidity, etc. Neither does the
warranty include water that may enter the structure through the door or
ventilator. Small cracks caused by expansion and/or contraction, which
do not create a leakage, or structural problem are not covered by the
warranty.
